Cathedral-style ceilings, wooden roofs with herringbone pattern and exposed ceiling beams help create a beautiful Mediterranean dining room that is even more enduring. The ceiling plays an important part in Mediterranean spaces and leaving it white only takes away from the grandeur of the spaces. A cozy fireplace (or even faux fireplace) in the corner, some lovely wall murals and a pinch of golden glint put the final touches on a dreamy dining room.
Wooden dining tables were seen as a thing of the past just a few years ago. It was especially considered a big 'no-no' in the 90's that saw shift towards more polished and less natural materials in home design. But the last few years and eco-conscious consumers have once again revived the classic and elegant wooden dining table.

Many homeowners feel that the additional room is better served as a second bedroom, home offices, playroom or even a guest room that doubles as study. But for those who still love the opulence, grandeur and sheer magnetism of a lavish dining room, the collection below is bound to be a visual feast!
