Details make the difference and nowhere is this truer than in this black-framed shower. This architectural detail may be slight, but it has a big impact and has become one of today’s important bathroom trends. A modern bathroom from Inda coordinates the dark framing with matching fixtures and a dark, floating vanity. Black architectural framing, however, goes well with a number of different styles and can be paired with lighter woods. It's a marvelous way to turn a sh into a major design element. For those who have a large space, adding an island is an unexpected way to create a useful and stylish bathroom. It only makes sense when you think about how a kitchen island increases the functionality of a kitchen. Why not do the same thing in the bathroom? This island from Inda has a marble surfacel and a modern chrome base. The piece is highlighted by the walls, which are covered in an amazing mosaic tile that is flecked with metallic accents, adding dimension. We've already mentioned that pedestal sinks are trending, but marble pedestals are a force on their own. Kreoo's marble pedestals are luxurious marble sinks that have very distinctive, modern silhouettes. The Gong model has an ovoid shape that looks like it has been sliced open at an angle. Designed by Enzo Berti, the hollow oval resting on the tapered column has a very organic appearance. The other two sinks are similar but have a much more rounded shape. They are all accompanied by the Kora Bathtub, also done in a dark marble.
Bathroom Layout Tip 3: Provide sufficient space. When you consider the heavy demands of a small bathroom, it might be tempting to try to squeeze more than what`s wise into the hard-working space. But more features in less space doesn`t actually translate into a better bathroom layout. In fact, the opposite is true. For example, toilets need 30” of space. The smallest shower size allowed is 30”x30”. The center of a sink should be 20” away from the wall. Generally speaking, double sinks do best with 36” between them. If you simply don't have the space, realistically, for all the things, it's time to reevaluate the functionality and eliminate the components you don't absolutely need.
The way in which the bathroom colors are displayed in important too. A lot of times, geometric patterns are created using tiles. If you’re not a fan of tiled walls there‘s also the option to paint the walls or to create interesting murals. Bathroom wallpaper can be an option too, although moisture may pose problems. If you're aiming for a dramatic visual impact, give your bathroom a special kind of focal point: an entire wall showcasing a cool mural or an oversized painting. Don‘t think of your bathroom as merely a utilitarian space. Give it the touch of elegance and luxury that you would normally focus on when designing the living room.
